Appreciate Others – Marketplace Mission Trip Day 2

By Mike Henry Sr.

Today’s key activity for the Marketplace Mission Trip is to appreciate others. Jesus said that where our treasure is, there our heart will be also. (Matthew 6:21) If we treasure people we can work for their best, and do so with their permission.

According to Merriam-Webster, appreciate means to value or admire highly, be fully aware of, to recognize with gratitude. Can you find things in your coworkers that you think God appreciates? What did God create in your coworkers, or customers that makes him proud?

How can you take this one step further, and appreciate others today? What can you do, above and beyond your normal job to appreciate people? Could you write a thank you note to someone? Or buy their lunch? What if you bought the lunch of someone for no reason? Do you believe God can use an action like that to make himself known?

Check out the post, and take action today to appreciate the people around you.
